Lake Palace Udaipur

The construction of Lake Palace of Udaipur was started in 1743 and it took about three years to complete this beautiful Palace. The palace was initially called as Jag Niwas as the founder of this architectural marvel was Maharan Jagat Singh II of Mewar Dynasty. The palace was used as summer resort for the rulers of Udaipur.

The Lake Palace is situated amidst of Lake Pichola giving it a beautiful view. The Palace is now converted into a Luxury Hotel of Taj Group. One can enjoy a royal stay in this palace converted hotel during his/her Rajasthan Tour.
