Amber Fort of Amer in Jaipur Rajasthan

Also known as Amer Fort, is situated in Amer about 11 KMs from Jaipur. The fort was built by Maharaja Man Singh I in 1592. The Kachchawahas ruled here for about Six centuries. The fort is a live example of Hindu as well as Muslim architecture.

The Fort is situated atop the hill and the entrance is on the foot. The artwork done on the walls of the fort will leave you stunned and speechless. The entire complex is built with white marble along with red sandstone.

The fort complex can be visited during 09:00 AM and 04:00 PM on all days (except public holidays).

An Elephant ride from the Grand Entrance Gate to the top of the Main building would be a real delight of visit to this marvelous Amber Fort.
