5. Mamallapuram (Tamil Nadu): Located 60 kilometers south of Chennai, Mamallapuram also known as Mahabalipuram is a land of Beaches as well as temples. Here you can see the historic monuments built largely between the 7^th and the 9^th centuries by Tamil Pallava dynasty rulers.

Cloud Burst in Leh has destroyed the Beauty

"With gushing waters and slush flowing Leh on a peak season night has left more than 1,000 tourists, including 300 foreigners, stranded in their hotels with the airport shut due to runway damage. Apart from Leh, tourists were stranded at Khoksar, Darcha and Jispa beside Manali and Keylong as Manali-Leh road was blocked at several points, authorities said." Read the Origional Story 

Indian army has launched a massive rescue operation in the area to avoid any more loss of life. All the essential goods, medicines, medical equipments etc. have reached Leh to help the injured.
